Hoa and I have been close friend for 5 years. We have opposite character, thinking, opinion, so we often argue or quarrel. However, similarities in lifestyle made my peace with her. We’re always by each other side and help each other overcome all problem as well as challenge, share and sympathy happiness as well as sadness, bring to each other the real value of the life. Thus, similarities and differences in lifestyle help us maintain our long lasting friendship.
First, both of us pose our purposes clearly and try to do our duty. She always make plan clearly for her future. And for me, living without purpose likes going on a ship without direction. She and I agree with each other we can do anything without aim, and we also never make great work if our aim is bad and selfish. So Hoa and I set up short plan and long plan each other. We try best ourselves to make them come true. Similarly, Hoa’s lifestyle is: “never worry and lose heart whenever we face to failure”. I believe in the motto: failure is a mother of success. We never give up our belief and hopeness. Each failure is a valuable lesson and experiment.
Despite our similarities, in term of emotion, love, and the ways to behave, we have differences. Hoa is more practical, and mature. She want to buy a convenient house in district one, and get married with a kind man who loves her, and has stable job. Conversely, I’m a daydreamer. I want to have a romantic love with full of nuance affection, want to live in a house with full of roses. I believe in miracle, and luck. On the other hand, I behave like a child. It means I often talk without thinking carefully even without thinking because I’m talkative. I make adult annoy because of my childish stupid behavior. On the contrary, Hoa is a person of very few words. But her words is valuable, and it makes listener must think so much.
Similarities in some ways, and different in term of emotion bring us the miracle of friendship. Similarities help us more believe and differences help us more understand each other. I learn strongpoint of Hoa’s lifestyle to complete myself, and to make good my shortcomings.

TOPIC 5:THE LIFE STYLE OF YOUNG GENERATION
In 2000-2006, according to statistic, there are 95.103 children and minors committed 74.389 cases. In 2005-2008, breaking the law of pupils and student is more than 8.000 cases. In there, disturbing public odder and drug-related crimes are 815 cases; killing is 8 cases; robbing fortune, injuring life and health are 117 cases. These terrible numbers make many people think that: “nowadays young generation is worse style than in the past.” In my opinion, I agree completely with that idea.

Many people say that: “the more modern our society is, the more young generation’s lifestyle is depraved.” The rate crime between the ages of 18 and 30 is about 40%. This is consequence of lifestyle relying on others, depending on parents, selfishness, not being aware of their responsibly. They not only are work-shy but also demanding to be served and come in for. If their parents don’t satisfy their claims, they leave the home, and meet bad friends. Some young people stole their parents’ fortune, or others to play the whore, to be stylish, to gamble, and use drugs. They answer back their parents because they think they right, and their parents have old-fashioned ideas.
In addition, there are more than 20.000 teenagers to leave school in Viet Nam. They tramp the streets and lead the life like dust. Living without parents’ care and education makes young people fall into drug addiction, into alcoholism, and make crimes easier. Furthermore, young people use internet for unhealthy purposes such as: watching video nasty, join in black wed, play violent games. Recently, many young people have argued that they use internet to find out useful information, to leant, to open their mind. This may be true; however, it’s true for a few young people who are well-education, and has wealthy lifestyle. If we enter any internet shop we can see the truth. The young playing violent games: 50%, chatting: 25%, entertaining by others ways (listening music, writing blog, etc): 15%, and only 10% for learning, reading news.
Lifestyle of young generation is a hot problem today. How to improve good style and remove bad style of young generation is a big hard question? Thus, right now all of us, young people must consider and evaluate our own behavior. That’s the duty of all society and every people.
